These Terms and Conditions govern your use of lunacarat.com and any purchase you make from us. Please read them carefully.

Agreement

By browsing or buying from this store you agree to these terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Refund & Returns Policy, which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the store.

Who may use the store

You must be at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to make a purchase. By ordering you confirm that the information you give us is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

Accounts

You do not need an account to order, but if you create one you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that takes place under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Products and descriptions

We describe our jewellery as accurately as we can and photograph it faithfully. Metal finishes can still look different between screens, and hand-finishing means small variations between pieces are normal rather than faults. Where a difference is material, our Refund & Returns Policy applies.

Measurements are given as accurately as possible and may vary slightly. Our pieces are plated jewellery, not solid gold, unless a listing says otherwise.

Personalised pieces

Engraved and personalised pieces are made to your specification. Please check spelling, dates and character counts carefully before ordering — we engrave exactly what you submit. Once engraving has started, a personalised order cannot be changed or cancelled, and it cannot be returned for change of mind. Faulty or incorrectly made personalised pieces are of course covered.

Pricing and availability

All prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice. Products are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or to discontinue a piece at any time.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, even after it has been confirmed.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. A confirmation email acknowledges that we have received it, and the contract is formed when we dispatch your items. We may refuse or cancel an order where we suspect fraud, where an address is invalid, or where a product is unavailable.

Payment is taken at checkout through Shopify and its payment providers. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout; customs duties and import charges on international orders are the recipient’s responsibility.

Shipping and delivery

Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees. Full details, including our current delivery windows, are in the Shipping Policy. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Returns, refunds and warranty

Every order is covered by our 30-day guarantee, and every piece by a two-year warranty against tarnishing and manufacturing faults. The conditions, exclusions and process are set out in the Refund & Returns Policy. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under the consumer law of your country.

Promotions and discounts

Discount codes and promotions are valid for the period stated, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be combined unless we say so. Bundle and stack discounts are applied automatically at checkout when the qualifying quantity is met. We may withdraw a promotion at any time, and we may cancel orders where a code has been obtained or used improperly.

Intellectual property

All content on this store, including text, images, logos, layout and code, belongs to Lunacarat or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the store to break the law, infringe anyone’s rights, transmit malicious code, scrape or harvest data, interfere with its security, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it.

Reviews and submissions

If you send us a review, photo, idea or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, publish and adapt it in connection with our business, including on this store and our social channels. You confirm the material is yours to share and is not unlawful or offensive. We may edit or remove submissions at our discretion.

Third-party links

Our store may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products or practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

Disclaimers

The store and its products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the store will be uninterrupted or error-free. Our jewellery is hypoallergenic and nickel free, but we cannot guarantee that no individual will ever react to it; if you have a known metal allergy or a skin condition, speak to a qualified professional before wearing.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lunacarat is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from your use of the store or its products. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the order concerned. This does not affect liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lunacarat is established, without regard to conflict of law rules. You may also have rights under the mandatory consumer law of your own country, and nothing here removes them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted on this page, and it applies to orders placed after it is published.
